The Town Council mandate derives from Article 1 and chapter 12 of the Namibian constitution, and the Local Authorities Act, 1992, Act 23 of 1992 as amended, and is to govern and administer local authority affairs within the proclaimed local authority area of Ondangwa subject to legislation.
The Town Council offers a single point of contact to streamline its service to you, by doing so it keeps track of all incoming requests, comments, suggestions or complaints. Calls are logged and you and the Town Council can keep track of the progress of any issue.

Every Household or Business should have their own water account; you can’t inherit an existing water and account from a previous owner of a property.
To open an account, go to our customer care center and ask for an Application for the Supply of Water contract/ water connection form.
Submit the completed form, together with the following standard documents:
Rates accounts will automatically be created in your name
Tariffs are set by the Council for the services it renders, such as water and refuse removal. These tariffs are reviewed once a year, with public comment sought on any increases.
